CHICAGO, IL – October 23, 2025 – Her Game Too USA is proud to announce its new role as a Champion for Coaching HER, joining a growing movement dedicated to transforming the way girls and women are coached in sport.
Through this collaboration, Her Game Too USA will help amplify Coaching HER®’s growing library of resources— including online courses for coaches and sport leaders, evidence-based articles, data snapshots, monthly “Take Action” items, and ongoing opportunities for virtual and in-person engagement. These tools are designed to challenge outdated norms, address systemic barriers, and support coaches in creating inclusive, girl-centered sport environments where all athletes feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
“Becoming a Champion for Coaching HER is another step forward in creating more inclusive spaces for women and girls in soccer,” said Jenn. “It’s not just about playing — it’s about changing the culture of coaching, so every girl feels valued, understood, and inspired to reach her potential.”
Coaching HER is a coaching resource that helps sport coaches of girls challenge the status quo and the taken-for-granted assumptions of what it means to coach girls. Coaching HER helps coaches minimize gender inequalities and coach differently. The program tackles central and often unaddressed issues that negatively impact girls’ and women’s performance, self-perceptions, sport choices, and experiences — including coaches’ unconscious gender biases and stereotypes.
Alicia Pelton, Program Director of Coaching HER®, shared:“Her Game Too USA is helping move the game forward by creating space for important conversations and showing how small shifts in coaching, leading, and environments can make a big difference. We’re proud to work alongside them to support coaches and communities who want to create positive, inclusive environments where all athletes feel they belong.”
As a Champion for Coaching HER, Her Game Too USA will help raise awareness of these vital conversations, share resources that support equitable coaching practices, and advocate for environments where female athletes can thrive.
“Our collaboration with Coaching HER allows us to shine a light on the systemic barriers that too often go unnoticed,” added Jenn. “By addressing unconscious bias and supporting education for coaches, we’re helping create a more empowering experience for girls in sport.”

To help keep girls playing, this free digital coaching training platform tackles a central issue in youth sports that negatively impacts girls’ experiences: when coaches show unconscious biases and stereotypes toward gender. Coaching HER® is comprised of online modules that address the importance of sport for girls and the actions coaches can take to set girls up for success in sport.
